These aromatic buds deliver all that’s best in an indica-dominant flower.

With a great nose and relaxing effects, Abacus is a perfect downtime strain that hemp flower enthusiasts simply love. Subtle purple hues and notes of citrus and gas set this flower apart. This is the new generation of hemp genetics and flowers like this prove that an alternative cannabinoid profile can be every bit as exciting and dynamic as any of its higher THC cousins. We are sure you will love it!

This indica dominant strain announces itself on the nose with lasting impressions of citrus, pepper and undertones of sour diesel. The heady initial perfume gives way to a smooth earthy smokability. Abacus Highlights

Type: Indica Dominant

Tasting Notes: Citrus, Pepper, Diesel

Effects: Relaxing & Calming

Common Uses: Stress-relief & Anti-anxiety

The abacus hemp flower is a relative newcomer, but it has made a big splash since its recent debut in 2017.  This CBD hemp cultivar was bred by crossing Fruity Pebble OG and Alien Sour Apple.

Users will enjoy the calm, relaxing effects you’ve come to expect from an indica-dominant strain. However its appearance, smell and taste are quite different from its indica cousins, and it therefore leaves a strong impression.  It’s darker color and spicy, citrusy flavor profile sets it apart and gives the hemp flower strain its own, unique profile

Flavor Profile, Aroma, & Appearance of Abacus CBD Strain

The first thing that hemp flower fans notice about this strain is its deep, striking, purple color.  Some reviewers have even described looking at this CBD strain as ‘staring into outer space.’ The dark density of the buds, alongside the intense crystallization, is what gives this impression.

The Fruity Pebble OG (FPOG) parent is what lends this strain its notes of citrus. Alien Sour Apple endowed its child with finishing notes of diesel and sour gas.

Before smoked, this CBD strain gives off a strong, floral aroma not unlike perfume. The floral component does not typically carry over into the smoke. The smoke remains smooth and not at all harsh.

Terpenes & Cannabinoids in Abacus Strain

This CBD strain was cultivated from the newest generation of hemp genetics. It is an outstanding showpiece for how CBD hemp flower can be just as dynamic and exciting as high THC strains. Abacus tests between 11.28% and 13.5% CBD content. Placing it in the middle of the pack in Cannaflower’s available strains.

The most dominant terpenes in abacus CBD flower are a balanced combination of Caryophyllene and Pinene.

Caryophyllene – also commonly known as Beta Caryophyllene or ‘b-Caryophyllene’ for short – is a  common cannabis terpene that lends a spicy aroma and flavor to many CBD strains. It also has ant-inflammatory properties and is used in many topical treatments.

Pinene gives the profile of – you guessed it – pine. It’s also found in pine nuts and many fruits. Alpha Pinene is the most common Pinene found in Cannabis and that is no exception with Abacus CBD hemp flower. It is also the Pinene type suspected of having the most therapeutic effects, including anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial benefits.

Abacus Effects

The Abacus strain exemplifies everything that you have come to expect from world-class indica cultivars. The calming and relaxing effects are there, but this strain won’t make you ready for bed like its indica cousin Bubba Kush. Overall, people report a peaceful, bodily impact that imparts a sense of tranquility and ease.
